The Magic is Back! Eddie Young is a Regional Finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2026!

WOW, Thank you

I've got some absolutely mind-blowing news to share! I'm thrilled, honoured, and frankly, still pinching myself to announce that Eddie Young Magic has been named a Regional Finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2026 in the Wedding Entertainer category!

To be recognised in this prestigious way once is incredible, but to back up last year's Regional Win and National Finalist status means the world. It’s a powerful affirmation that the magical experience I strive to create for every single couple and their guests is truly connecting.

Why This Award Matters (It’s Not Just a Trophy)

You might have seen other wedding awards pop up, but the reason I get so passionate about TWIA is because they’re the most rigorous and respected awards in the UK wedding industry. They are the opposite of the "pay-to-win" competitions you hear about.

The TWIA process is a genuine test of quality and consistency, and it works like this:

It starts with a Nomination.
A previous client or industry professional has to first believe in your work enough to nominate you.

The Votes That Count.
My eligibility as a Finalist is based entirely on the feedback and votes from my actual couples from the past year. They score me on everything from the initial booking process to the atmosphere I create on the day.

The Expert Panel Review.
The process is then completed by a panel of over 150 industry experts who pour over my client feedback, profile, videos, and social media presence.

Being a Finalist, especially for the second year running, following a Regional Win isn't about who can pay the most or get the most likes.  It’s a direct result of the incredible reviews and support from the couples I’ve worked with. It tells you that when you book Eddie Young Magic, you're getting a proven, top-tier service, backed by genuine client happiness.

From Winning to Finalist: The Journey Continues

Last year was a complete game-changer. Winning the regional title and going through to the National Finals for TWIA 2025 was a phenomenal high. It wasn't just a shiny trophy; it was the client feedback that proved my close-up magic is doing what I set out to do: smashing awkward silences, getting guests connecting, and turning a great wedding into an unforgettable, legendary one.

This year's final slot is a challenge to myself to keep raising the bar. It means that even after a big win, I'm not resting on my laurels. I’m continuing to invest in my craft, my service, and the experience I deliver to ensure every moment is perfectly paced, seamless, and magical.

Thank You for Making the Magic Happen

This milestone is a huge thank you note written in flashing neon lights to every single couple who trusted me with their most important day.

Thank you for the votes.

Thank you for the incredible feedback you took the time to write.

Thank you for letting me be the person who brought the wonder, the laughter, and the unforgettable moments to your celebration.

You are the real reason I do this, and your support is the greatest award I could ever receive.

Now, the real preparation begins! I'm polishing my best tricks (and my tuxedo!) as I get ready for the Regional Awards ceremony in November.

Whether I take home another trophy or not, I’m proud to represent my amazing couples and stand alongside the best suppliers in the industry.

Wish me luck! And if you’re planning your own epic day, let’s chat about how we can make your wedding truly legendary.

How a queue of 1,000 Spudfans, a selfless act of kindness, and one remarkable woman led to the most memorable wedding booking of my career.

Your wedding day will run late. Not because of bad luck. Because nobody wrote it down. Most couples spend months planning the big day and zero time planning the ORDER of the day. No times. No contacts. No plan B. So when the photographer runs over, the caterer doesn't know when to serve, and the best man has no idea when to speak CHAOS. That's exactly why I created a free Single Page Wedding Run Sheet. One page. Every moment. Everyone on the same page. ✔ Start & end times for every event ✔ Supplier contact details in one place ✔ Notes & responsibilities so nothing gets missed Your day deserves more than a group chat and a prayer.

Let’s be honest. You’ve spent months obsessing over the big moments the vows, the dress, the first dance, the cake. But there’s a gap in your day that can quietly kill the vibe before the party even starts. The dreaded drinks reception. You know the one. Guests mill about awkwardly. Champagne in hand, but no one quite knows what to do with themselves. The couple have disappeared for photos. The room hasn’t opened yet. And the energy? Flat. Here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to be like that. Here’s the real talk on your options pros, cons, no fluff.
